Connecting the Wires

Buy an extra wire long enough to run from the car's battery underneath the hood into the car where the lights are mounted underneath the dashboard. Stretch this wire so it reaches the battery from the dashboard beforehand to make sure it is long enough. The proper way to go about this is by feeding the wire through the car's firewall, located along the wall that separates the engine bay from the car interior. Look for other wires running through the firewall.
